Taleena and I are taking part in Dramafever’s Video Drama Club. That was sort of what got us started on our own vlog idea. Here’s the last two episodes we took part in.

Drama Club: Trot Lovers Episode 5-8
Drama Club : Trot Lovers
I’m part of my third Drama Club on Dramafever. I cannot describe how much fun I’m having. Yes, its a lot of work trying to get 3 ladies together to comment on an episode, and thank you Google docs. Boy, does that make it easier.
The first 6 episodes are out. I’ll be adding the links for Episodes 5 and 6 when they post this week, so here are the links for the first 4 episodes.
Now, just a little review so far. I fell in love with this series with the first episode. Our two male leads took on characters that were polar opposites from their last projects. Let me explain.
Joon Hyun: Self professed god of music, petty, selfish and a colossal jerk. Oh the stuff this boy pulls…. *shakes head*
Entertainingly played by actor Ji Hyun Woo. This is Hyun Woo’s first role since his discharge from the military. Now what made this great for me was that this character was NOTHING like his last one. His last role was the strong, almost silent protector of Queen In-Hyun’s Man. He was everything a girl dreams about in her fantasy white knight who over comes time and space for love. The chemistry he had with his leading lady was amazing and I really like watching this boy kiss. Joon Hyun is NOTHING like Boong Do and I’m so happy about that. I hate when actors gets type-cast. Hyun Woo does a great job of bringing to life this egotistical asshole who believes anything is okay as long as he’s right. This drama takes this character on a roller coaster ride in just the first 4 episodes and its a humbling experience for him.
Geun Woo: Son of the music company president who contracts with our lead actress. He’s flaky, a bit klepto and doesn’t take himself seriously. He knows he’s a spoiled rich brat and has the humor and insight to laugh at himself.
This character is what sold me. Shin Sung Rok last played an evil psychopath in My Love From Another Star. This guy was so evil that anytime he smiled you knew someone was about to die. He was brilliantly evil and Sung Rok was compelling. We nick named him Scary Oppa. Geun Woo is anything but. We go from scary and evil to goofy and light hearted….and you buy it. Completely. He comes across as a flake but you soon learn that that is a cover for someone who is very very observant.
These are but two of the very entertaining characters in this delightful drama.
Angel Eyes Drama Club Reviews
Having been sick the last few weeks, sitting at my computer has been difficult. I’m better now so I’ve got a bunch of stuff to update. I spent my time in bed watching lots of dramas and I’ve got some catching up to do. First things first. Here’s the Dramafever Drama Club reviews for Angel Eyes. Its been interesting because of the different format style then was used in the Bride of the Century Drama Club. The jury is still out on which I like better, but I will say I had more stress and fun on Bride of the Century. But then, BotC was a romantic comedy with lots to make fun of and Angel Eyes is a mysterious melodrama. The women I worked with in both groups were and are fantastic.

Bride of the Century Final Drama Club post
I am going to really miss hanging out with Taleena and Firnlambe as we laugh about Bride of the Century. I’m happy to say that they will both give occasional posts to this blog so I have a reason to pester them and I hope to keep them as friends for a long time.
This was an amazing drama with a great story. It kept its secrets very close to its chest so you never really knew where the writer was taking you. We enjoyed every minute and here is Part 1 and Part 2 of our last hurrah as the BotC drama club.

New Blogger and Drama Club post 3
I’ve invited my friend Taleena who is one of my two partner’s in crime for the Bride of the Century Drama Club to join me here making posts on this blog. She’ll bring some fun content as she talks about her interests as a result of her love of kdramas. Where my love tends to influence my music choices, she loves the food. She is an ajumma just like me and will make her own introductions.
And our 3rd post for Bride of the Century is now up, so here’s our review of Episode 3.
If you click on the picture, you’ll notice big brother looking stunned in the background.
So Much Fun
This week saw myself so busy I could hardly think straight. I feel like a zombie, I’m so tired, but I wanted to get these links up before I passed out as tomorrow starts our second week as the Bride of the Century Drama Club. I had so much fun with Firnlambe and Taleena. For several days as we dealt with trying to meet our deadlines even though the computer decided to not accept uploaded images, or recognize that we were authorized to post on it. We laughed and cried so much this week and I haven’t had so much fun in a long time. I loved being able to spend several days talking about what we liked and didn’t in this new drama. I just don’t get that with my normal circle of friends. I need more kdrama addict friends! lol!
So here we go, if you’re already on Dramafever then these are old news to you, but I’m still sharing.
