{"id":5,"date":"2014-02-03T11:46:54","date_gmt":"2014-02-03T19:46:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kimchi.greyduck.net\/?p=5"},"modified":"2014-02-03T12:05:15","modified_gmt":"2014-02-03T20:05:15","slug":"the-start-of-rambling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asthekimchiturns.net\/?p=5","title":{"rendered":"The start of rambling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in November 2012 I got sick.\u00a0 Real sick.\u00a0 More details on that later.\u00a0\u00a0 I was stuck in bed, not moving much and was bored out of my mind.\u00a0 Flipping through Netflix I found some kdramas and because my sister had just come back from being stationed over in South Korea, I decided to give it a try.\u00a0 After all, I&#8217;d grown up watching anime and so loved the story telling style.\u00a0\u00a0 After flipping through some options I picked the one that had a girl taking on bullies at her school.\u00a0 Being a bullied kid myself, I was up for a good adventure.\u00a0\u00a0 The first episode of Boys over Flowers didn&#8217;t impress me much.\u00a0 I thought this was glorifying class warfare and bullying, and it was like reliving 7th grade all over again.
