You tease! \u00a0\u00a0In the great fake out of this series, we\u2019ve got a pregnant couple who have yet to actually kiss. \u00a0Gun chickens out on following what his heart and \u2026. head really want to do.<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> I was so disappointed that they had him chicken out \u2026 I mean I understand why<\/i>, but It would have been a nice touch.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn<\/strong>: \u00a0Especially with that lead up\u2026 gah!
\n\"ep8<\/a><\/p>\n

What do you do when you come upon your rival on a morning jog? \u00a0Run until you\u2019re both stupid.<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe<\/strong>: Ha! Gun is so proud of himself for beating Daniel, even if it was just by a couple seconds\u2026..the simple things in life, right?<\/p>\n

Wendilynn<\/strong>: *falls over laughing* \u00a0\u00a0they are both so funny.<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe83\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Star Wars for the Win! \u00a0\u00a0Iron Man and Capt America are cool too, but this was funny that this art work showed up as Daniels\u2019.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> STAR WARS!!!!!! *ahem* I mean \u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> \u00a0*grin*<\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> I’m not a huge Star Wars buff, honest\u2026…must\u2026.focus\u2026.on\u2026..drama\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe85\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Vikings believed giving children horrible names kept the monsters from eating them. \u00a0On that scale, \u00a0I guess Dog Poop works. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> Ok, but still \u2026\u2026 there are a plethora of terms she could have picked… how Dog Poop<\/i> won is beyond me.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn<\/strong>: She mentions that her fetus name was the same. \u00a0So its probably nostalgic for her. \u00a0My youngest got the nickname of Tadpole, but that\u2019s because I have an ultrasound at 7 weeks that shows his little tail. \u00a0*chuckles*<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe87\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Trying to make amends, Se Ra has rushed home to Gun\u2019s waiting arms. \u00a0\u00a0Gun is definitely surprised\u2026..and completely off kilter. \u00a0Mi Young is way more with it than her troubled husband. She advises Gun to not tell Se Ra yet so he can prepare her.<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe<\/strong>: I knew this was coming\u2026..I knew it\u2026..but I still had to pause the damn video for like an hour, before I could work up the nerve to finally finish the episode.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn<\/strong>: I like that Gun wants to come clean right away, but only pauses because Mi Young asks him to. \u00a0Then after seeing how needy Se Ra was, he paused even more thinking maybe Mi Young had a point. \u00a0But I can tell he\u2019s not happy with the confusion.<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe89\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A little late for that realization, sweetheart. \u00a0Too bad Gun doesn\u2019t have the heart to break the bad news to you yet. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> Selfish whore! \u2026\u2026..Wait\u2026.. did I say that out loud\u2026..What I meant to say was\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026…yeah–no, selfish whore is the best I can come up with. Seriously woman!! If you had been in Gun\u2019s shoes, and you were dating a man for 6 years who continuously left you in order to pursue their career, would you<\/i> not have a change of heart if someone came along who gave you their everything all while knowing they\u2019d never mean anything to you?<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> \u00a0Point.
\n\"FTLYe810\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As petty as this woman is, she understands what it means to be the other woman. \u00a0This is probably the most honest this woman is with anyone. \u00a0And she gives Mi Young some good advice. \u00a0Advice she takes to heart.<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe<\/strong>: I\u2019m hoping for a personality turnaround from the mother-son duo soon.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> \u00a0They had one in the T version, so there is hope that the duo straighten up eventually.<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe812\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2026and because we reporters have no respect for anyone, we\u2019ll bully you until Daniel comes to rescue you. \u00a0The rumors are out and once again, Gun is not the one saving the day.<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> I have to wonder if having her picture taken with Daniel will cause a scandal down the line. Also, we need to cut Gun some slack\u2026.He was pretty pissed that Director Tak didn\u2019t let him know what was going on.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> \u00a0Gun is certainly distracted at the moment and playing host to Se Ra during all this at Mi Young\u2019s insistence.<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe813\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mom has a routine issue but Gun comes unglued. \u00a0He likes having a Mommy again. \u00a0Not even Se Ra could keep him by her side when he found out she was in the hospital.<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe<\/strong>: Awwww, poor guy\u2026..I find it super endearing that he\u2019s taken such a strong liking to Mom.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> Totally endearing. \u00a0Gun\u2019s heart is very warm.
\n\"FTLYe814\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Se Ra is finally told the bad news. \u00a0Not only has her Gun become married, but he\u2019s expecting a child.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> I feel no sympathy for this woman. If she hadn\u2019t gone and said this:<\/p>\n

\"ep8<\/a><\/p>\n

I maaaaaay have felt a twinge of sympathy for her. Alas\u2026she does\u2026This statement speaks VOLUMES about how twisted her view on their relationship was\/is, and how twisted Gun let it become. Letting Se Ra get spoiled to this point in the relationship was not healthy for either of them.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn<\/strong>: \u00a0No it wasn\u2019t. \u00a0Knowing Se Ra\u2019s history the way we doing having seen the T version, her selfish neediness is understandable, but I have to agree with you that they were no longer a healthy relationship. \u00a0If they had been, then Mi Young would not have been able to have such an effect on Gun.<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe817\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Gun is having a hard time. \u00a0He\u2019s hurt his precious Se Ra. \u00a0The life he once dreamed of is gone. \u00a0He has obligations to Mi Young he can\u2019t ignore.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> While I felt super sad for Gun, saying goodbye to a 6 year relationship could not have been easy\u2026…I felt worse for Mi Young, who\u2019s sitting right outside the mancave listening to the man she\u2019s started to love, sob uncontrollably and be unable to say or do anything to comfort him.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> \u00a0Yes, I was teary for both of them. \u00a0Mi Young knows that for all intents and purposes, Gun is having the hardest time of anyone. \u00a0All she does is offer her quiet understanding and support without conditions. \u00a0Which is what is stealing Gun\u2019s heart in the first place.<\/p>\n

\"FTLYe818\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mi Young understands more than anyone the heartache Gun is going through. \u00a0While Gun tries to find his equilibrium, she quietly waits for him to figure it out.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> He could have gone about this a little better\u2026..switching back into Cold Gun so rapidly was a little harsh. I mean, I totally understand, I just wish he was a little warmer to Mi Young considering all they\u2019ve been through.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> \u00a0I\u2019ve seen this happen in several dramas. \u00a0It must be a cultural thing in dealing with \u201creturning to someone\u201d. \u00a0I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve run into it in western stories.<\/p>\n

\"ep8<\/a><\/p>\n

Mi Young\u2019s first foray as the Madam of Jangin Chemicals\u00a0 has not gone well. \u00a0She\u2019s been gossiped about, had wine dumped on her and had drunk trash try to embarrass her. \u00a0Thankfully, Gun does show up, finally aware of the rumors, to put them to rest and to let everyone know just how special Mi Young is to him. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> I love that Gun used the same tactic that Mom used while they were on the island. Playing up her \u201cfaults\u201d in order to make a point about how genuine she really is\u2026…sidenote\u2026.where was grandma during all of this? I can’t imagine she would have just let her precious Granddaughter-in-law be torn to shreds like that<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> Good question, I had a hard time believing that her little meeting would keep her unaware of what was going on. Especially as they were using a microphone.
\n\"ep8<\/a><\/p>\n

Moved to tears?<\/em><\/p>\n

Firnlambe:<\/strong> So close!!! A kiss to wipe away her tears was super sweet\u2026..but I would have been happier with a lip lock.<\/p>\n

Wendilynn:<\/strong> \u00a0This whole scene was sweet. \u00a0Gun is quite the romantic. \u00a0I wasn\u2019t enamored of this particular actor and the smarmy way Gun was played in the beginning had me doubting I\u2019d fall for him, but oh my goodness, do I have a big crush. \u00a0This is developing a lot of the magic that made the T version of this show one of my favorites.<\/p>\n

Gun\u2019s heart is clearly falling for Mi Young. \u00a0Mi Young is scared to trust that she even has the right to fall in love with Gun. \u00a0She worries that if she accepts his feelings of care and concern then she will get greedy. \u00a0\u00a0I say be greedy girl. \u00a0\u00a0Join us for episode 9 recap when we look to see if Mi Young will get greedy and if Gun will finally give his heart to Mi Young without reservation.<\/p>\n
